Meta Business on Integrations is not a store. It stands for the Meta catalog that mirrors the products already in Popcorn, so your agent can send WhatsApp product cards and customers can build a cart. Products still come from your connected Shopify, Salla or Zid store (or from Popcorn); the catalog only copies them to Meta.

Where to set it up

The Meta Business row sits under Stores & catalogs (“Send your products to your Meta catalog so your agent can share them on WhatsApp.”). Its badge reads Connected once a catalog is linked and Available before. Its button, Connect or Manage, opens Integrations → WhatsApp, because the catalog is set up beside your number:
  • It reuses your WhatsApp connection, so there is no second Meta login. Connect a number first; see Connect a WhatsApp number.
  • On the Account tab, the Products in WhatsApp panel has Set up products. The steps, the catalog choices and every message you can see are in Products in WhatsApp.
  • A role that can manage products is needed. Without it, the panel says “Ask an admin to finish setting up your products.”
One catalog is shared by every number in the same WhatsApp account, because Meta allows one catalog per account. See Products in WhatsApp.

What Popcorn keeps in sync

  • After you connect, every active product in Popcorn is pushed to the catalog. Large catalogs take a while; the health card shows progress.
  • From then on, every product change in Popcorn, whether from your store sync or an edit in Products, is queued to the catalog. Products and variants you delete in Popcorn are removed from it.
  • Every night Popcorn compares your products with what is actually in the Meta catalog, re-pushes products that are missing and records products Meta rejected. It never deletes catalog items it cannot match to a Popcorn product, so items added by other tools are left alone.
  • Resync products on your store’s row pulls the catalog from the store and then pushes it on to Meta in one go. See Connect your store.

Check it and reconnect

The catalog health card on the WhatsApp Account tab shows how many products are live, which ones Meta rejected and why, and which are still syncing. If the panel says Needs reconnect, Meta no longer accepts Popcorn’s connection: click Reconnect WhatsApp and share the catalog again when Meta asks. Until you do, products go out as image cards.
