The three pages under Settings → Personal apply to you alone: Profile (name, business name, timezone, privacy choices), Notifications (inbox alerts) and Communication (product news from Popcorn). Each teammate sets their own.

Profile

Open Settings → Profile. The top card shows your avatar, name and email.

Personal Information

Click Save changes in the bar that appears, or Discard. A confirmation reads “Updates successful”.
Timezone affects the whole workspace. Reports use it for day boundaries and peak hours, campaigns use it to enforce Working Hours, and the AI agent is told the current time in it. If it is wrong, daily figures shift and campaigns can go out at the wrong hour. The default for new workspaces is GMT.

Privacy and analytics

Manage privacy choices reopens the consent dialog for optional analytics and advertising tracking, so you can change what you accepted at sign-up. Read the privacy policy opens the policy on trypopcorn.ai.

Notifications

Open Settings → Notifications. Each row is an inbox event with a toggle; when the toggle is on, three checkboxes choose how you are alerted. Click Save changes; the page confirms “Preferences saved”.

Defaults

The person who created the workspace starts with all four events on. Everyone who joins by invitation starts with only Customer replies and Conversation assignments on, with sound, whatever role they were invited with. In-app and Browser are on for every enabled event. When someone’s role is changed from Settings → Team Members, any event they have not customised is reset to the defaults of the new role (all four on for Owner or Admin, two on for Manager, Agent and Viewer); events they changed themselves are kept.

What notifications do not cover

Notifications are per person and only cover Inbox events. Email alerts for handovers, and Slack alerts, are configured per agent under the agent’s notification settings; see Connect knowledge, tools and channels.

Communication

Open Settings → Communication to choose how Popcorn tells you about new features. These messages are separate from inbox notifications. WhatsApp updates can only be turned on if your account has a phone number (the one you entered at sign-up); otherwise the row reads “Add a phone number to your account to enable WhatsApp updates.” You can always turn it off. Consent is tied to that specific number: if the number on your account changes, WhatsApp updates switch off until you opt in again. Click Save changes; the page confirms “Communication preferences saved”.

Language

Popcorn’s interface is available in English, Arabic and Spanish. Click Language at the bottom of the sidebar and choose English, العربية or Español. Arabic switches the whole app to right-to-left. The choice is remembered in your browser and is yours alone; it does not change the language the AI agent uses with customers.
