Connect Salla so your AI agent sells from your live Salla catalog, creates orders in Salla with your store’s payment methods, tracks orders, and keeps your customer list current. If you subscribe to Popcorn through the Salla App Store, the subscription is applied to this workspace through the same connection.

Before you start

  • A Salla store you can sign in to.
  • A Popcorn role that can manage integrations (Owner or Admin).
  • Allow popups for Popcorn: the authorization opens in a popup window.

Connect

1

Open Integrations

Go to Integrations and click Connect on the Salla card.
2

Approve access

A popup opens on Salla. Sign in and approve the access Salla lists for Popcorn (products, orders, customers and store notifications).
3

Wait for confirmation

The popup closes on its own. Popcorn shows Successfully connected to Salla and the card reads Connected. If the popup closes without finishing, you see Failed to connect to Salla; click Connect again.

What happens when you connect

  • Popcorn saves your merchant account and store domain.
  • Popcorn subscribes to Salla notifications for product creation, updates and deletion, order updates, and customer creation and updates.
  • A full product import and a full customer import start in the background. The card shows Resyncing products… until the product import finishes.
  • Active automated campaigns get their Salla triggers re-registered, so Reconnect also repairs campaigns that stopped firing.
If you connected Salla before customer sync existed, click Reconnect once. The customer permission is only granted during authorization, and customer import starts after it.

What syncs

Products
  • Name, description (formatting removed), images, product link and tags (used as search keywords).
  • Prices. When your store applies tax to a product, Popcorn stores the price including tax; the discounted price is the taxed sale price. Otherwise the regular price and sale price are used as they are.
  • A product is active in Popcorn when it is on sale in Salla.
  • Quantity. A product with unlimited quantity in Salla is treated as always available.
  • Variants. Popcorn creates, updates and removes variants to match Salla.
  • Salla product custom options are not imported.
Customers
  • First and last name, mobile number with country code, and email.
  • Salla customer groups and tags become customer tags in Popcorn.
  • Each imported customer shows Salla as its source on the customer profile. See customers.

Ongoing updates

To force a fresh import at any time, click Resync products on the Salla card. See Connect your store for the resync limits.

Checkout and payment

When the agent completes a sale, Popcorn creates the order in Salla. For a payment link, the customer receives Salla’s checkout link for that order. The payment methods offered on the order are the ones your Salla store has active among credit card, mada, bank transfer and cash on delivery. If no payment option is enabled in Popcorn yet, Cash on Delivery (COD) is enabled by default. Manage options under Settings → Payment. See shipping and payment and orders.

Shipping methods

Under Settings → Shipping, click Sync from Store to import your Salla shipping companies:
  • Each company arrives with its fee and its expected delivery time (minimum and maximum days) taken from your Salla shipping zones.
  • Coverage is built from your zones: specific cities, whole countries, or every country when a zone covers all countries.
  • Select the methods to import, adjust fee and delivery time if needed, and click Sync Selected. Methods active in Popcorn but disabled or missing in Salla are listed so you can deactivate them.

Order tracking

When a customer asks about an order, the agent looks it up in Salla by order number and checks that the customer’s phone number matches the order; a mismatch is refused. With only a phone number, the agent finds the customer in Salla and returns their five most recent orders. Enable the agent’s Order Tracking capability to use this; see agent capabilities.

Events for automated campaigns

These Salla events are available as triggers when you create an automated campaign: For abandoned-cart messages, Popcorn checks whether that customer has placed an order since the cart was abandoned and skips the message if they have.

Subscription through the Salla App Store

If you subscribe to a Popcorn plan inside the Salla App Store, Salla notifies Popcorn and the plan is applied to the workspace whose connected Salla store matches:
  • Subscription started, renewed, or trial started: the plan becomes active until the end date Salla reports. Popcorn recognises the Salt and Cheese plans by name; a plan name it does not recognise is treated as the free plan.
  • Subscription canceled or expired, trial canceled or expired: the plan ends at the end date Salla reports.
Connect your store in Popcorn before subscribing. Popcorn matches the subscription to your workspace through the connected store, so a subscription event that arrives before the store is connected cannot be applied. See plans and credits.
